The front sprocket chain guard is a direct-fit aluminum protector designed for the CFMOTO 800MT, CFMOTO 800MTX, and CFMOTO 800NK. It shields the front sprocket and surrounding drivetrain components from road debris, mud, and chain lash, reducing wear on both the sprocket and the surrounding engine cases.

Machined from aluminum, the guard is rigid enough to deflect stones and grit at speed while remaining light. The open lattice design allows heat to escape freely and keeps the sprocket area accessible for chain inspection without removing the guard. Bolt-on installation uses the existing OEM mounting points and requires no drilling or permanent modification to the frame.

Installation

1. Park the motorcycle on its side stand on level ground and allow the engine to cool.
2. Locate the front sprocket area on the left side of the engine, behind the chain.
3. Align the chain guard cover with the OEM mounting points.
4. Thread the supplied bolts by hand to confirm alignment, then torque to snug using the appropriate socket.
5. Check that the guard does not contact the chain or sprocket at any point before riding.
