A 253-piece bolt assortment for Yamaha MT and R models
This 253-piece fairing bolt kit is listed for Yamaha MT-03, MT-07 and MT-09, the YZF R1, R3, R6 and R7, the FZR400, 600 and 750, and the Suzuki GSX-R600, 750 and 1000.
It holds 83 bolts and a large set of clips, push pins and washers in factory-style metric sizes, sorted in a plastic box.
Why it is worth fitting
The bolts are made from T6-6063 aluminum with an anodized finish, described as corrosion resistant and lighter than older-style bolts.
Beyond fairing bolts, the kit adds windscreen fasteners, M6 and M8 retainer push pins and push clips, so it also covers trim and inner panels.
Six colors are offered: black, blue, silver, red, gold and green, so you can stay discreet or add contrast to your panels.
Installation
Work one bolt at a time and match the new bolt to the original length; the seller asks buyers to check the sizes for their bike.
Respect the seller's limits of 4 N.m for M5 and 6 N.m for M6 bolts, as aluminum is softer than steel.
In the box: 5 M6x40, 20 M6x16, 20 M6x20, 30 M5x16 and 8 M5x25 mm bolts, 14 truss screws, 14 speed clips, 10 push clips, 50 nylon washers, 10 well nuts, 50 plastic pillars, 10 M6 and 10 M8 push pins and 2 spanners in a plastic box. The seller states the kit installs without instructions.
