Chrome Accent For The Exposed Twin Cam Tappet Blocks
This chrome lifter block accent cover set is made for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engine models from 2000 to 2016, including Touring, Softail and Dyna bikes.
It is made of aluminum alloy with a bright chrome finish and sits over the stock tappet blocks on the side of the engine.
Why it is worth fitting
The tappet blocks are one of the plain spots left on a Twin Cam engine. This cover turns them into a polished accent that matches other chrome engine parts.
Because it simply fits over the exposed engine case, it is one of the easiest dress-up parts you can add to a Harley.
Chrome is easy to wipe clean, so the engine area keeps its shine with little maintenance.
Installation
The cover fits over the stock tappet blocks with the small hardware shown in the pictures and basic hand tools.
Work on a cold engine, check the cover sits flat on both blocks, then tighten the fasteners evenly.
