A Tail Hump That Finishes The R7 Bodywork
This passenger seat cowl is made for the Yamaha YZF-R7 from 2022 to 2025. It covers the pillion seat with a tail hump that follows the rear bodywork.
It is molded in ABS plastic and offered in blue, glossy black, white or a carbon fiber pattern finish.
Why it is worth fitting
The streamlined hump shape gives the R7 a cleaner single-seat look, and the seller says it is cut without abrupt or curling edges. The cowl changes the silhouette of the bike more than most bolt-on parts, which makes it a popular first styling upgrade on a sport bike.
The seller describes the ABS as resistant to deformation and fading, with a smooth surface finish and soft transitions at the edges.
It is a reversible upgrade: take the cowl off and refit the pillion pad when you want to ride with a passenger.
Installation
The cowl replaces the passenger seat. The product photos show a mounting bracket and screws next to the cowl, so lay everything out before you start.
The seller does not list installation instructions. Check that the bracket sits flat, tighten the screws evenly and keep the original seat for later.
In the box: one passenger seat cowl for the YZF-R7, in the color you select.
