Turn The Super Duke Tail Into A Solo Seat
This rear seat cowl fits the KTM 1290 Super Duke R from 2020 to 2023 and closes off the passenger seat with a solo cover.
It is made of ABS plastic and comes in black, orange or a carbon fiber look finish. It measures about 325 mm long and 270 mm wide.
Why it is worth fitting
A solo cowl sharpens the Super Duke tail and makes the bike look lighter from the side. The orange version picks up the classic KTM color. The cowl changes the silhouette of the bike more than most bolt-on parts, which makes it a popular first styling upgrade on a sport bike.
The cowl weighs about 0.43 kg, and because it takes the place of the pillion seat you can always go back to the stock setup.
The seller notes that the underside is unpainted and that the color may not match your bike exactly, so compare the photos before choosing.
Installation
The cowl mounts in place of the passenger seat as a replacement part. Check the fit on the tail section first.
Installation instructions are not included, so take photos of the original setup and keep the pillion seat and its hardware.
In the box: one rear seat cowl for the 1290 Super Duke R, in the color you select.
