Engine Cover Guard For KTM 790 / 890 Adventure - 2019 to 2026

Stop Front-Wheel Debris Before It Reaches The Engine

This engine cover guard (crap flap) fits the KTM 790 Adventure / S / R (2019–2026), the 790 Adventure R Rally (2020), the KTM 890 Adventure and 890 Adventure R (2020–2026) and the 890 Adventure R Rally.

It is machined from CNC aluminum, weighs 0.16 kg and comes in black, orange, blue or gold.

Why it matters

Mud, stones and water thrown by the front wheel hit the front of the engine and the cooling fan area first. An engine cover guard, often called a crap flap, blocks that debris before it packs into the fan, the hoses and the front of the cylinder.

Less dirt in that area means better cooling, less cleaning after muddy rides and less wear on the parts behind it.

Installation

Installation is quick and requires basic hand tools only.

Fit the guard to its mounting points in front of the engine and tighten evenly. Check that it clears the front fender and the hoses at full fork compression.

Compatibility

Fitment is listed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Check your model and year against the table before ordering.

In the box: 1 engine cover guard.

Care tip: after muddy rides, rinse the area behind the guard with low-pressure water so dirt does not build up around the cooling fan and hoses.
