Front Fender Beak Extension For Yamaha MT-09 / MT-09 SP - 2021 to 2023

A Sharper Nose For The 2021 To 2023 MT-09

This front fender beak extension is made for the Yamaha MT-09 and MT-09 SP from 2021 to 2023. It mounts on the front fender and extends its nose.

It is molded in high-strength ABS plastic and comes in plain black or a carbon look finish.

Why it is worth fitting

The extension gives the front of the MT-09 a more substantial look, with a wider and more aggressive beak shape under the headlight.

It also takes the hits that would otherwise land on the painted fender: rock dings, gravel and scratches thrown up by the front wheel.

At about 0.35 kg it adds very little weight to the front end.

Installation

The beak fits onto the front fender of the MT-09. Clean the fender and offer the part up first to check the alignment with the mounting holes.

Tighten the fasteners evenly and by hand feel, since ABS plastic can crack if a screw is over-tightened. Check that it clears the tire at full fork travel.

In the box: one front fender beak extension in the color you choose. The seller does not list installation instructions.

Compatibility

Fitment is listed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Check your model, year and trim against the table before ordering, and contact us with a photo if you have any doubt. The Carbon Look version is a printed finish on ABS plastic, not real carbon fiber.
