Handlebar GPS Mount With AMPS Plate For Kawasaki Motorcycles

This handlebar GPS mount bolts to the top handlebar clamp of a wide range of Kawasaki motorcycles, from the Z900RS, Z650RS and Versys 650 to the Z400, Ninja 650 and W800. It gives your navigation device a solid, centered base right in your line of sight.

The mount is machined from CNC 6063-T6 aluminum in black and weighs just 0.13 kg. It is offered with four plate types, so you can choose the one that suits your device.

Why it matters

The plate uses the standard AMPS 4-hole pattern, which fits GPS units such as the Garmin Zumo XT and Montana, TomTom and Voyager Pro, as well as most third-party cradles. It is also compatible with a RAM ball base.

A handlebar clamp position puts the screen higher and closer than a mirror or bar mount, so you can follow directions with a quick glance. The rigid aluminum body is built for all-weather use and resists corrosion.

Installation

The mount is universal for handlebar clamps that use an M8 threaded bolt. No cutting or drilling is required. No printed instructions are supplied.

Remove the top clamp bolts, fit the mount, refit the bolts and torque them to the factory specification. Check that the bars turn lock to lock freely.
