Universal LED Sequential Turn Signal Indicators
The Universal LED Sequential Turn Signal Indicators are a direct-fit replacement for factory turn signals on most street motorcycles, offering a cleaner look and meaningfully better road presence than the stock units that came on your bike. OEM signals are designed to meet minimum compliance standards, not to stand out in traffic. Riders replace them for a range of reasons — reducing bulk at the front or rear of the bike, modernizing an older machine, or simply improving how visible they are to other road users. These LED indicators address all three, fitting the majority of motorcycles that use a standard turn signal stem without requiring custom brackets or fabrication work.

The Sequential Blink Effect
What sets these signals apart from a conventional LED indicator is the sequential blink effect. Rather than the entire light face switching on and off as a single unit, each LED within the strip illuminates in order — progressing from the inboard edge outward toward the tip of the indicator — before all LEDs extinguish together and the cycle repeats. The result is a flowing amber sweep that communicates direction far more clearly than a static blink. Research into dynamic turn signal systems consistently shows that a sweeping or progressive light pattern registers faster in a driver's peripheral vision than a simple on-off flash. On a motorcycle, where your signal footprint is already smaller than a car's, that additional visual information matters. The amber output is clean and saturated, remaining legible even in direct sunlight where some lower-output LEDs wash out.

Daytime Running Light Mode
When the turn signal is not active, these units function as a daytime running light in steady amber. DRL mode keeps the indicator strips illuminated at all times while the ignition is on, adding a continuous point of light reference at both ends of the motorcycle during daylight riding. Daytime conspicuity is one of the more practical and underappreciated aspects of motorcycle safety — being seen consistently, not just when you brake or signal, reduces the likelihood of other drivers failing to register your presence at intersections and lane changes. The steady amber tone is warm enough to be visible without being aggressive, and it transitions cleanly into the sequential blink pattern the moment you activate the turn signal.

Installation & Compatibility
Mounting uses a universal stem mount designed to fit the standard turn signal stem diameter found on the vast majority of production motorcycles. The electrical connection is a straightforward standard 2-wire hookup, making these a direct replacement for existing OEM signals without the need to splice additional circuits or modify the harness. That said, because LED indicators draw significantly less current than the incandescent bulbs your flasher relay was calibrated for, many bikes will exhibit hyper-flash — an accelerated blink rate — when LEDs are installed without modification. Load resistors may be required to bring the circuit resistance back into the range the relay expects. This is a common and inexpensive fix, but it is worth confirming whether your specific bike needs them before you ride.

What to Know Before You Order
These indicators are sold as a complete set of two units — one left and one right — so a single purchase covers both sides of the bike. On the resistor question: if your motorcycle uses a standard load-sensitive flasher relay and has not been previously modified for LED signals, there is a reasonable chance you will need inline load resistors to prevent hyper-flash; if your bike already runs an LED-compatible or adjustable flasher relay, you likely will not. It is also worth measuring your existing stem diameter before ordering to confirm compatibility, as a small number of older or European-market bikes use non-standard stem sizes that fall outside the universal fit range.
