Radiator Guard & Oil Cooler Cover For BMW S1000RR / S1000R - 2019 to 2025

The radiator guard and oil cooler cover is a direct-fit protective screen designed for the BMW S1000RR, BMW S1000R, M1000RR, and M1000R from 2019 onward.

Machined from aluminum, it sits in front of the radiator and oil cooler to deflect road debris, stones, and insects without restricting airflow.

The guard follows the original mounting points of the fairing, requiring no drilling or permanent modification to the motorcycle. It is available in several logo variants to match the specific model badging on your bike.

Why it makes a difference

The aluminum mesh construction provides a physical barrier that stops gravel and debris from reaching the radiator core. Damage to a radiator fin can cause slow coolant leaks that go unnoticed until the engine overheats — this guard eliminates that risk without adding meaningful weight to the front of the bike.

The oil cooler cover shields the secondary cooling circuit, which is equally vulnerable on track days and spirited road riding where stones are thrown up at higher velocity. Protecting both circuits in one kit means consistent thermal management regardless of riding conditions.

Installation

1. Remove any existing fairing panels or clips necessary to access the radiator mounting area.
2. Position the radiator guard against the front of the radiator, aligning it with the OEM mounting points.
3. Secure the guard using the supplied hardware, tightening to a snug fit without over-torquing.
4. Attach the oil cooler cover section to its corresponding lower mounting points.
5. Reinstall any fairing panels or clips removed in step 1 and verify there is no contact between the guard and surrounding bodywork.
