Raised Windshield For Husqvarna Vitpilen / Svartpilen 401 - 2018 to 2023

This raised windshield gives the Husqvarna Vitpilen & Svartpilen 401 real wind protection without losing its sharp, aggressive front end.

The screen is made from pressure-resistant polycarbonate (PC), a material that resists cracking from impacts far better than acrylic, and it comes in Clear, Brown or Grey tints.

Why it matters

The Vitpilen 401 is a naked bike, and above 60 mph the wind blast becomes the limiting factor on any ride longer than a few minutes. A taller screen redirects that pressure, reducing neck strain and fatigue and making the bike far more usable for touring and commuting.

The polycarbonate screen also shields you from bugs and small stones thrown up by traffic. Clear keeps maximum visibility through the screen, while the brown and grey tints cut glare and add a darker, sportier look.

Less buffeting around the helmet also means less wind noise, which makes intercom calls and navigation prompts easier to hear and reduces the fatigue that builds up in your arms from bracing against the airflow.

Installation

The kit includes the windshield and a complete mounting bracket set with screws. No cutting or drilling is required.

Remove the stock headlight cowl hardware, fit the bracket, attach the screen and tighten evenly. Electronic installation instructions are available from the manufacturer on request.
