Diamond-stitched comfort for your passenger
This rear passenger backrest pad with bracket is listed for Harley-Davidson Touring models from 1996, the Softail Slim FLSL 2018-2022 and the Softail Standard FXST 2020-2021.
This option is the black pad with red diamond stitching and a black mounting bracket, measuring 285 x 190 mm.
Why it is worth fitting
The pad is made of synthetic leather over a soft sponge, which improves passenger comfort on long trips.
It gives complete back support with a generous radius, and the seller describes it as rigid once installed.
The pad is easily detachable, so you can ride solo without it and refit it when you carry a passenger.
Installation
The pad mounts on a sissy bar using the bracket; check that your bike's upright matches the bracket hole pattern before tightening the screws.
Fit the spacers and screws, tighten evenly and confirm the pad sits straight and firm before the first ride two-up.
In the box: 1 backrest pad with the bracket and the mounting hardware. The seller states there are no installation instructions.
