Description
Description
A fresh cushion for your Sportster sissy bar
This sissy bar backrest pad is listed for the Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883, XL1200 and Forty-Eight from 2004 onward.
It is a black cushion in PU synthetic leather, made to replace a worn or missing pad on an existing sissy bar. It does not include a sissy bar, so it suits riders who already have a compatible bar and only need a new cushion.
Why it is worth fitting
A cracked or faded pad spoils a clean Sportster; a new black cushion brings back a neat look and comfort for the passenger. It is a low-cost way to refresh the rear of the bike without changing the whole sissy bar.
The synthetic leather cover is easy to wipe clean and keeps its black finish.
The pad has pre-drilled mounting points on the back, as shown in the photos, so it bolts to a sissy bar plate without drilling.
Installation
The seller describes the pad as easy to install but highly recommends professional installation.
Line the pad up with the holes in your sissy bar, fit the screws by hand first, then tighten them evenly without crushing the foam.
In the box: 1 set, as pictured: the backrest pad with its screws. The seller states there are no install instructions.
