Underside Engine Protection For The New Himalayan
This skid plate bolts under the engine of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 (2024 onward) and shields the engine cases, oil filter area and chassis underside from rocks, ruts and impacts.
It is made from stainless steel with a black finish that resists wear and scratches, and it is cleanly welded with no rough weld marks.
Why it matters
The Himalayan 450 is built for gravel, trails and long adventure rides, and the underside of the engine is the first thing to hit a rock or a ledge. A crack in the cases can end a trip in the middle of nowhere. A bash plate absorbs those impacts and lets you ride rough terrain with confidence.
It also keeps mud, water and gravel off the bottom of the engine, which makes cleaning easier and protects components that are hard to reach.
Installation
Installation is simple and requires no cutting or drilling.
Lift the bike securely, position the plate under the engine, align it with the mounting points and tighten the fasteners evenly. Check that it clears the exhaust and the side stand before riding.
