This skid plate fits the Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X (2018–2023) and the Jinpeng 502 / 502X.

It is CNC-bent from aluminum alloy, weighs 1.3 kg and comes in black or silver.

Why it matters

The underside of the engine is exposed to rocks, ruts and curbs, and a hard hit can crack the crankcase, damage the oil filter or bend the exhaust headers. A skid plate spreads the impact and lets the bike slide over obstacles instead of catching on them.

It also keeps mud, sand and stones away from the lower engine, which means less cleaning and less wear after every off-road ride.

Installation

Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools.

Offer the plate up under the engine, line it up with the mounting points and tighten the bolts evenly. Check ground clearance before riding.

Care tip: after off-road rides, rinse mud and stones out from between the plate and the engine, and check the mounting bolts periodically, since vibration and impacts can loosen any fastener.
