Tough Plastic Bash Protection For The CRF300L

This skid plate fits the Honda CRF300L and CRF300L ABS (2021–2024). It protects the engine cases and frame from rocks, logs and mud.

It is molded from impact-resistant high-density polyethylene, weighs 1.11 kg and comes in black or red.

Why it matters

The underside of the engine is exposed to rocks, ruts and curbs, and a hard hit can crack the crankcase, damage the oil filter or bend the exhaust headers. A skid plate spreads the impact and lets the bike slide over obstacles instead of catching on them.

HDPE flexes on impact and slides over rocks instead of catching on them, which is why many trail riders prefer it to metal on lighter dual sports. It also absorbs vibration quietly.

Installation

Mounting hardware is included and installation is straightforward. No instructions are included.

Offer the plate up under the engine, line it up with the frame mounting points and tighten the bolts evenly. Check ground clearance before riding.

Compatibility

Does not fit the CRF300L Rally directly: its lower bodywork must be removed or modified. Fitment is listed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Check your model and year against the table before ordering.

Care tip: after off-road rides, rinse mud and stones out from between the plate and the engine, and check the mounting bolts periodically, since vibration and impacts can loosen any fastener.
