Skid Plate For Honda NX500 / NX400 - 2024 to 2025

Serious Underbody Armor For The NX500

This skid plate fits the Honda NX500 and NX400 (2024–2025) and protects the engine cases and exhaust from rocks and impacts.

It is machined from 4 mm CNC aluminum alloy in black or silver.

Why it matters

The underside of the engine is exposed to rocks, ruts and curbs, and a hard hit can crack the crankcase, damage the oil filter or bend the exhaust headers. A skid plate spreads the impact and lets the bike slide over obstacles instead of catching on them.

It also keeps mud, sand and stones away from the lower engine, which means less cleaning and less wear after every off-road ride.

Installation

Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools. The original plastic under-cover may need to be removed.

Remove the stock under-cover if required, offer the plate up to the mounting points and tighten the bolts evenly. Check ground clearance and that nothing rubs before riding.

Compatibility

Fitment is listed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Check your model and year against the table before ordering.

In the box: 1 skid plate.

Care tip: after off-road rides, rinse mud and stones out from between the plate and the engine, and check the mounting bolts periodically, since vibration and impacts can loosen any fastener.
