Skid Plate For Kawasaki KLX230 - 2024 to 2025

Real Bash Protection For The KLX230

This skid plate fits the Kawasaki KLX230 (2024–2025).

It is made from aluminum in black or silver and wraps under the engine with drainage holes.

Why it matters

The underside of the engine is exposed to rocks, ruts and curbs, and a hard hit can crack the crankcase, damage the oil filter or bend the exhaust headers. A skid plate spreads the impact and lets the bike slide over obstacles instead of catching on them.

It also keeps mud, sand and stones away from the lower engine, which means less cleaning and less wear after every off-road ride.

Installation

Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools.

Position the plate under the engine, align it with the frame mounting points and tighten evenly. Check that it clears the exhaust and the oil drain bolt.

Compatibility

Fitment is listed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Check your model and year against the table before ordering.

In the box: 1 skid plate.

Care tip: after off-road rides, rinse mud and stones out from between the plate and the engine, and check the mounting bolts periodically, since vibration and impacts can loosen any fastener.
