Side Radiator Fairings For BMW R1250GS

The water tank guard plate is a pair of protective panels that cover the front radiator shroud and the frame side panels on the BMW R1250GS. Made from ABS plastic, each panel follows the factory contour lines of the GS fairing and installs using existing mounting points.

Available in matte black, carbon fiber look, and silver, these panels shield the water tank area from road debris, mud, and minor impacts while giving the front end a cleaner, more layered appearance.

Why it makes a difference

The ABS plastic construction is lightweight and resistant to the impacts and stone chips that the R1250GS encounters on both road and trail riding. The panels wrap tightly around the frame, keeping dirt and debris away from the water tank and front radiator shroud.

Installation

1. Clean and dry the mounting area on both sides of the frame.
2. Align the left panel with the OEM mounting points on the frame side panels area.
3. Secure the panel using the existing mounting bosses — no drilling required.
4. Repeat on the right side.
5. Check that both panels sit flush and are fully seated before riding.
